Square Format Photos

I just read Andrew S. Gibson’s ebook, The Creative Image, and in 1 part of the book he talks about square photos. I quote from him about the square format: “The square format suits the minimalist approach…” Feeling intrigued, I cropped in Photoshop 3 photos that I took last Friday to make them square. These are the results. (And now my camera at the moment has been set to 1:1 ratio)

Pre Wedding: Desi and Daniel

Two days ago, I took some pre wedding photos for my friend, Desi, and her husband-to-be Daniel.
In the morning we could see some dark clouds that made us worry of raining. But thank God, as soon as we arrived on the location, the sky was getting clear and bright. Such a blessing.
Because Daniel is a fan of Inter Milan FC, so for the second part they wore an away Inter Milan jersey.
The couples were such a joy to work with because they are not a demanding type. This was the first time that I took photos of people who were not curious to see their photos on the LCD of my camera. It was like they trusted me completely.
So enjoy the following smaller size of a few of their photos.

Children Photography: Keiko (part 1)

Some weeks ago, a friend of mine asked me to take some photos of her daughter, 7-month-old Keiko.
Keiko is such a chubby cute little girl that I ended up with a lot of pictures of hers with her sweet, funny expressions. Thus, I decided to post her photos in 2 parts.

The first part is the one when I took her pictures in a restaurant using a window natural light.
Here they are:
